Rev. Dr. Tracey Davenport
Pastor/Head of Staff
Pastor Tracey began her tenure as a senior pastor of Grace in Sep. 2020. She served in churches in Texas, Georgia, Maryland and California before coming to Grace. She loves to preach and teach & getting to know new people. She loves Jesus! She loves to hike, travel and attend live theater and music experiences. She is married to Jack and has two adult daughters & two little dogs.
Rev. Wilson Nicolson
ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF DISCIPLESHIP & NURTURE
Pastor Wilson joined our team at Grace in June 2022. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Nurture. Prior to seminary, Wilson worked with multiple Presbyterian congregations in non-ordained positions. He is especially passionate about sharing God’s love with others through mission and pastoral care. Wilson is married toAdrienne, and they have a rambunctious boxer dog named Odie who they love to take on long walks around their neighborhood.
Rev. Cara Ellis
Associate Pastor for Children & Family Ministries
Pastor Cara has served at Grace since Sep. 2014. She has served as the Children's pastor & now serves as the Associate Pastor of Children & Family Ministries. Graduating from SMU Penkins Seminary in May 2014 with a Master of Divinity & Spiritual Care she served as a chaplain at Parkland Hosptial in Dallas. She and her husband, Mark have 2 little girls who have stolen their hearts.
Staff
Michael King
Director of Music
Michael serves as the director of the Sanctuary choir, Exultation Choir, Grace Notes, and oversees other ensembles and the overall music ministry. He holds degrees from the University of North Texas and Westminster Choir College and has served in church music ministry for many years in addition to serving as pianist/conductor for musical theatre and directing various choral organizations.
Hannah Allen
Director of Children's Music
Hannah is a Ft. Worth native, moved to Massachusetts to earn her bachelor's in vocal music performance from Gordon College and is back in Dallas to begin her MM in choral conducting and music education at SMU. She has volunteered with children's choirs and music camps and is excited to use her skills to contribute to young people's spiritual and emotional growth and to edify the Grace Presbyterian community.
Katie Schnittker
HANDBELLS DIRECTOR
Katie directs our Credo Handbells Choir, made up of high school students. They play in worship several times a year and join the youth choir tour in the summer. She loves what she does and is always eager to see the joy the music brings to the youth as well as the congregation.
Trenton Hull
WORSHIP LEADER
Trenton received a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies-Vocal Performance, from UNT. He performs around the DFW area singing and playing pop, soul, and jazz. He's had the opportunity to sing with Ben Folds, Manhattan Transfer and Sarah Brightman in the past. He has also worked as a music engraver for the large music publishing company Hal Leonard and regularly works as a studio singer. He and his wife, Marisol enjoy running together and a real ways looking for good Vegan food.
Rev. Dr. John Moody
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Brother, husband, father and grandfather, John serves as our Director of Finance. Prior to answering a call to full-time ministry, John was a controller and manager of HR for a major oil company and for a paper mill. He is an ordained Baptist minister with experience as a Church Planter, Teaching Pastor and Administrative Pastor. In addition to his under graduate business degree, John has a master's and doctoral degree in Christian Education. He married Beckie, a retired Texas high school choir director. They have one daughter, Ashley and two grand daughters and one grandson.
Kris Turner
DIRECTOR OF OFFICE ADMINISTRATION
Kris, as the director of office administration, supports all of our team with their needs. She is the liaison to the property committee, and works with our contractors on building issues. She maintains the church website and CCB database. She is also in charge of communications, the church newsletter, social media and graphics. She is married to Melvyn and they have been blessed to call Grace their church home for 31 years. Their three children were active participants in the children's youth and music programs at Grace.
Andrew Packard
organist
Andrew joined the music ministry at Grace in 2018 after serving other churches in the Denver and Dallas areas. He studied piano at Southern Methodist University and organ at the Eastman School of Music. He is working toward the completion of a doctorate in collaborative piano at the University of Colorado Boulder. Andrew lives in Euless with a high-maintenance calico cat.
Paul Henning
MUSIC AND WORSHIP ADMIN
Paul has a life long involvement in church music ministry and a background in business operations which lead him to leave the corporate world and take on the roll of administrator to the head of staff pastor and the music director.
Stephanie Tapley
Family and Adult Ministries Administrator
Stefanie has a background in music, marketing, graphic design and medicine. Having worked in the medical field for over 14 years she felt the call to work more closely in ministry in addition to her leading worship with her husband at another church. She is currently finishing her studies to become an ordained ministerial counselor. She has two children, a boy an a girl 12 years apart in age and love spending time with them.
