ABOUT US

Our Purpose

Our primary purpose for existing is to love God, serve Him, and glorify Him with our lives. Matthew 22:36-38 ; Romans 12:1 ; 1 Corinthians 10:31

We also exist to love all people with the same type of love and compassion that Christ displayed while He was on earth. Matthew 22:39 ; John 15:12-13 ; 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

To accomplish these noble objectives, we need ongoing training for the work of ministry. Ephesians 4:11-16 ; Colossians 1:28

We also need to recognize that God has gifted us for service (1 Peter 4:10-11) and commissioned us to spread the gospel into all parts of the world, beginning right where we live. Matthew 28:18-20 ; Luke 24:46-47 ; Acts 1:8

To put it more simply, we can summarize the purpose of the church with the acronym A-C-T-S. We exist to:

Adore the Lord – Care for Others – Train the Saints – Share the Gospel
